Hi, one foreign collector asked question about the Feather seal on the Hawaii cover. I am not familiar with it, does anyone know if it has any special meaning related with the mail? Is it personal seal?

大家好，有个外国邮友发信问夏威夷封上的羽毛型戳记的用途及相关资料。我对这个不熟悉，不知道有没有邮友知道这种羽毛戳记的来历及使用时间？羽毛中的文字一般会是什么？是不是私人的封印？多谢了！

小时候看过鸡毛信的故事，不知道这羽毛标志和信件有关吗？还是仅仅是羽雁传书的意思？

私人的，属闲章，用途一般为盖于字上以免让人修改！

Here is the English translation of the answer: "The feather seal is personal seal put on the cover (especially on the address characters) so that nobody would be able to modify these characters."
Hope it would give some help to the foreign collectors.
