2 years ago another cover sent to USA, dated May 30, with 20 stamps was sold for
HK$ 20,700. I have personally seen the above cover dated June 8. According to the auction house , there are 3 similar covers sent to USA. Another 2 covers were posted locally.
Your block of 8 stamps could have been removed from another cover sent to USA. It could be one of the earliest used cover. Unfortunately it is difficult to confirm now but the chances is quite high. |
