(2) and 5c., cancelled by "Chefoo" bilingual c.d.s., in combination with German "China" 20pf. cancelled by "Tschifu/Deutsche Post" c.d.s. (19.12), and then passed to the French P.O. where France "Chine" 25c. cancelled by "Shang-hai/Chine" c.d.s. (25.12) for overseas transmission, very fine and rare triple combination cover. The cover was unusually franked with a German stamp by the Chinese P.O. in Chefoo. The French stamp was probably applied in Shanghai from where the cover was posted overseas, since the German P.O. evidently could not provide a prompt mail service from Chefoo at that time.
